I need a man purse
« on: 05 February 2012, 09:13:14 »
So I just got a Kindle Fire.  Love it.

But now, I need a way to carry both it and my phone around as well as maybe a charger or cables of some sort.  Believe it or not I was pondering a zip up pencil holder.

Check Amazon.  They have a bunch of holders.

If you do get a man purse, let me know.  I will loan you my yellow chiffon dress.

I think I'd more inclined to the first one.  The second actually looks like a purse and is $100 more than the first.

Hey, Chunck, I took my fire down to arizona mills and had them ghost armour it. I paid 20 to have them do the face, only. I have a case for it, but no matter how careful I am, I end up scratching the faces of everything. They did a wonderful job on both the kindle and my cell.

Hmmm, might have to look into that.  Also like Macrojamins idea, cause everything goes with camo.  Camo is the new black

what is ghost armour?  never heard of it & it sounds like something I need to do to my iPad & iPhone.

it's a clear film that they apply over the face, and, it you want, the back. When I got my kindle, I also bought a sheet that was supposed to the same thing. It did not. When I used that one, it looked stupid, and it had little bubbles all over the place, and I couldn't get em out. And, in time, the ghost armour will get scratched up, too. But the person who applied said that it was not a problem to put a new one on. I'm hoping he's right.

so it's not a peel-offable application, it actually stays on & isn't cloudy or anything like that?  sounds very very cool.

nope, not the peel off kind. It will darken your screen a little bit, but just a tiny bit. And not a cloud in sight.
