Tom Candelaria isn't a viable candidate. He missed the filing deadline - some excuse about being a single parent and being busy. That being the case, he should focus on the more important job at hand as he has shown that he doesn't have the ability to manage both.
Some of his opinions were right off the forum discussion threads. They show that he has no real world experience or even knowledge of how things work. I appreciate anyone who steps up and takes a leadership role - especially when we can't get half the population even to show up at the polls. However, you have to be qualified in order to run for office. And you have to show a willingness to make the personal sacrifices required of the job.
