Candidate Signage
« on: 02 February 2012, 16:36:21 »
I see that Christian has some new signs?  Not really sure, as I hadn't paid much attention to any of them until yesterday. I like his slogan.  But, there's no phone number on the signs.  Oops. How do you get hold of his campaign if you don't have access to the internet right now, but want to make a donation from the money you just won at the casino?

Big Sign

Yard Sign

His opponent has a phone number on all of his signs:

Even Mr Kimball modified his signage with a phone number:

Do you see it? Bottom right corner.

By law, signs have to have a phone number.  Its a new law just put in this year.

Oops!  It looks like Mr. Kimball didn't know about it either.  Did anybody ridicule him before he added the stickers to the signs?  Oh, and I've seen quite a few Kimball yard signs...without stickers.

Who said anything about ridicule?  I just pointed out that there is no contact information on Christian's signs. Maybe someone pointed out the error to Mr Kimball, and the campaign tried to fix the signs.

I know it must surprise you, but nobody is making fun of anyone here.  I just made an observation.

As to there being Kimball signs with no sticker, I'm sure there are...but at least an attempt was made.  Today, I looked at every Price sign I saw.  No other contact information besides the web site.

Price went to law school....but screwedup knowing about the law about signs ...impressive

Almost as impressive as his clueless inabilty to answer any quetion about the strategic plan of the City he wants to be mayor of

Or as impressive as his answer to how to make Maricopa a viable place for commuters paying $4 a gallon for gas to call home...by replacing all city vehicles with natural gas ones....

Very little learned about the actual candidates. Much learned about the supporters of each side.

Did Buddy have a phone number on his sign? :p

I had this one translated.  It says, "Vote for me and get a free wet/dry shop vac."

Was that sign stolen? I can't find it now. I hope he had enough signatures to run as a candidate.

And I'll just bet you have a tonne of Twinkies. Just guessing, given the sugar high you have exhibited.

so you accept the wager?

I'm not betting poop, I just pointed out the statute that says you need a phone number on the sign.  And no, I'm not entering because I think you might be right, I'm not entering because I want absolutely nothing to do with you.  I dont like you, on a personal level.  I have no desire to see or meet you in person.
