Because a "Diedrich for Mayor" sign stolen TWICE out of a yard in Maricopa Meadows, the homeowner decided to do this.   :D

Actually, our forefathers did rather well.  It was the guys out on the front line that lost blood - and a lot more.  I hope their purpose was more noble than campaign signs.  It's not only forefathers who are making the sacrifice.  If you ever had a son or daughter injured in combat, you would know what I mean.

I do agree with one thing that you said:  People who run for public office command respect.  Regardless of whether you support their position on the issues, they don't deserve to be called liars or have their families insulted.

They did rather well, most who began the revolution or the "talk" of it, were very rich and no longer wanted to pay taxes to the empire.

Vincent, I removed your post.  I am not going to allow you to use this forum to call anyone corrupt.  If you feel that someone who holds office is corrupt, then write an article, submit it with your backup and source validation, and we will consider publishing it as a news article.  Or, forward your information to the County Attorney.

I would do exactly the same thing to a post from any other user who called any other official or candidate corrupt.

Vincent, It seems to me that have a lot of anger toward this person with the sign. Is this because you are so much like him and may have a lot of self hate.

Nevermind the facts that there were signs reported stolen or defaced in other developments by other people?

Another stolen sign on Dietz Dr in Rancho.  Replaced.

Kinda loving the Brown big signs - whoever designed them did a spectacular job. Whether you're voting for him for not, his signs sure get noticed.  Not sure the lightbulb shaped yard signs are all that practical but they are drawing attention for sure.

"Brown and Diedrich are sitting council members and both are breaking the law with their signs. If these two cannot understand the city code then we should have problem with voting for them."

OK... Now you are naming and accusing 2 people of criminal acts.

Please explain.

Mud slinging is fun, but when you make legal accusations against people, you will need to fully back that up or be guilty of liable.

If you add that into trying to affect the outcome of an election... Well... I think you can appreciate the seriousness of your statement.

Nice.

Actually, I am not an admin or moderator on the newside here. The front page is written and edited. Remarks are left as-is.

Regarding the frisbee golf.... I had an interesting photo request this evening from a resident in Maricopa Meadows.

You really may want to tone down some of your rhetoric. I think you are doing as much harm for Price as some here are doing for Diedrich.
