Friends and family have said goodbye to two young brothers who drowned in a canal on New Year's Day.

Six-year-old Calib Love and his 10-year-old brother, Anthony, lost their lives in a canal south of Maricopa.

Their 8-year-old brother, Emmanuel, tried to save them but couldn't.

Hundreds of people gathered on Monday for the boys' funeral service in Chandler.

"They were incredible young men," Ike Harris, the family's pastor, said. "They made an impression [on] everyone that they met. They were always smiling, they were always happy, you got a weekly hug every time you came into church."

A bank account has been set up to help the family with expenses. If you'd like to help you can donate to any Wells Fargo branch to the "Love Family Memorial Fund."
