Maybe if 3 people, especially one *cough* Scott *cough* left the school board, MUSD could begin to care about the kids again.

Agree! We were there last Sunday to see Charlie Brown Christmas. The place is spacious, beautiful, VERY impressively sound proofed, and still had that new-car-smell, which my daughter liked (strange child).

Very much DITTO! The new venue is beyond awesome. I can't wait to shoot a perfomance there!

They also hired the very best stage manager for it. :)

It is, in fact, a beautiful facility! We attended COCs Christmas Eve service there, and I was really impressed. I can't WAIT for DSPA's annual recital in May, when Kierstin will be on stage :)

I cannot lie, and say it was GREAT, but it is a night out.

Evelyn - we are going on Thursday.  I'm not a huge Shakespeare fan but I'm a sponsor & we like to support the arts, so although I'm not as excited about this one as I have been in the past, we're excited about the performance. You're welcome to join us if you'd like.

ha, right, if you had pix of that you would have burned them already out of pity.

I don't what's worse than drinking eight Natty Ices, playing Skyrim for four hours, then rubbing one out and stumbling off to bed: being the guy that does it or the girl who has pictures of it, lol

I ended up going on the last night of the performance. The people I talked to  wanted to know who I was related to...apparently everyone in the audience had a child or grandchild in the show.

I agree that it was not great, but was an enjoyable night out. Some of the performances were very good...some eh not so. It was very cleverly done, on a shoestring budget, which I got a real kick out of...plus the venue...I wanted to see the new theater!

The monster was very good...as was Ariel...I thought she stole the show. I enjoyed the drunks, too. LOL. I would probably enjoy it again, now that I sort of know the plot.

I'm looking forward to seeing Music Man, and already have a date lined up!
