MUSD selects new "Deputy Superintendent"

It would appear that Dr. Ember Conley, director of assessment and accountability for the district, has been approved as the new Deputy, in a meeting last night.

I'm still fuzzy as to why we need a deputy to do Kleck's work for him.  Sounds like empire building, and it's supposedly only for 6 months.

If Kleck can't do his job for the last 7 months he's going to be here, they should accept his resignation immediately and send him packing NOW.

Ahhhhh yes another pissing match between a Board and a Superintendent 

  Kleck did turn in a resignation but it is June 30,2012.He has a contract that has to be honored (salarywise).

IMHO...the Board shoulda called it an "Interim" position.Now,the Board better remember come "Slash and Burn Time"...Spring budget cuts that the Deputy Super job had BETTER be at the top of that list. I know,I know the contract is till June 30 BUT I'd bet a dollar to a donut hole they forget to RIF that title.

See they don't  need an override, they can pay 2 peps to do the job one was.
