Is anyone aware of any local support groups that meet regarding parenting children with mood disorders?
I'm having a SUPER hard time and need someone to cry with.
Reiley was inpatient for 5 days for psych evaluation, psychosis, auditory hallucinations, danger to self and danger to others. I'm hearing her anxiety may really be paranoia and that we are most likely looking at bi-polar disorder. Because of her age the diagnosis for now is regulatory processing disorder and they are trying to sort out the rest.
Anyway, if anyone knows of any kind of face to face type support groups, I'd greatly appreciate the info. Funny, I'm handling the medical side of her way better than the mental... and not sure why since they are both crap.
