Just think of the sub fab as a Borg cube.  It doesn't matter which way is north as long as you can locate your alcove to plug in.

Actually the accident was about 3/4 of a mile north of town.  It turned out to be a 2 vehicle accident, with 6 minor injuries.

2 adults and 1 child were transported to Maricopa Medical Center.
