    That might be true in states with tenure, but probably not so true in Right to Work States like AZ, where you can not be offered a new contract at the end of a school year for the next school year and they don't have to give you a reason why.  True Story. Interesting read... probably some valid points. But I would think that it varies state to state according the state laws combined with federal and such.

The researchers behind that article should spend more time in high-growth, poor financial states like Arizona or pockets of California.  Good read though.
