Tractor Trailer Fire - 238 / JWP
« on: 28 October 2011, 08:53:47 »
This morning right in the middle of rush hour, a truck hauling trash had its cargo start on fire

The truck was well east of the intersection and traffic was okay to head north and south and from the west, but going east was not allowed.  The cops stopped everyone, even motorcyclists.

Good job on Maricopa FD getting this out, I got the tweet from Nixie as it happened practically.  Sorry about the photo quality - cell phone through windsheild

You sure the truck wasn't west of the intersection?    8)

Yeah thats what I meant  :-[

I was on my way from Phoenix to Casa Grande for the Emergency Preparedness Fair when I received the notification.

I'm glad you were there to take some photos.
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

Me as well... Gaa.. I really need to come back to Maricopa for my day's work. Even the biggest fire only took me away from work for 30-45 minutes when I was working from home.
