PCSO Raids throughout Thunderbird Farms

Much as I hate to cite "the other website"

http://www.inmaricopa.com/Article/2011/10/27/maricopa-drug-raid-thunderbird-farms

Apparently, several houses were raided in Thunderbird Farms today.  One of them had something interesting in it because the cops stayed there for hours afterwards.  In addition to the small pic on the website, heres another one from the photographer

Mallard has really spoiled all of us with his high quality picture taking :-)

I'll be curious to see what comes out of these raids.

Warrants executed in massive federal, local drug raids
Posted: Oct 27, 2011 10:51 AM Updated: Oct 27, 2011 11:00 AM

PHOENIX (KPHO/AP) - Personnel from multiple law enforcement agencies are executing search and arrest warrants in and around Phoenix as part of a far-reaching investigation into narcotics trafficking.

Agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security and members of the Pinal County Sheriff's Office were involved in the Thursday morning raids.

Ross Feinstein with the Department of Homeland Security said the warrants were being served at a number of locations. Feinstein said his agency would not make any other details available until next week because of the ongoing investigation.

I wish I could get them to check out my neighbor! I think he's running a meth lab, what with all the all nighters and the traffic that's only there for minutes at a time.

Meth labs usually have a lot of odor associated with them, he sounds like the local pot guy though

Odors are a little harder to detect when you're on 9 acres in Hidden Valley!

Channel 12 tweeted me today about this.
It sounds like the press information will come on Monday.

If it is local I intend to be there for that. I am sure Homeland Security and PCSO will run it.

This sounded like the culmination of a long investigation. 12 told me thay were hearing that there were about 100 officers involved in the execution.

(Thanks, Chris, on the compliment. It sounds like Harry was asked to stop shooting photos, which I have a huge issue with)

I received the same tweet from Eric.  That was the first I'd heard of it...although I did see about 8 of the urban assault vehicles that the Feds use for these raids on 51st Ave about 7:30. They were headed back to Phoenix with a lot of dark colored vans following them.

The correct response to that request is "no."  Just make sure not trespassing at the time.
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.
