A day at the museum
« on: 18 October 2011, 22:45:24 »
Last weekend, we hit the Arizona Museum of Natural History.

I opted to not use a strobe. Stala never even knew I was shooting. LOL (Non of these shots were posed. It's amazing how the imagination works. :)

Even panning for gold was fun... Although the night shift forgot to restock it. LOL

I had a dream that I went to a museum that was actually a warehouse-sized building filled with seawater and you had to put on one of those oldschool diving suits to walk around in it.  There were different sea animals in there and you could pick up and play with/pet crabs and other marine life and explore shipwreck replicas and stuff.

I woke up covered in piss.

I am surprised Starla got that close to that big freakin' lizard even if it has been dead for 80 million years.  :)

Actually.. There is abitof a story on that. Starla studied to be a paleantologist (sp?). She has no problem with those critters or with real lizards.

However, there was a replica of a prehistoric scorpion on the stairs down to the lower level. Daniel and I had to shield her from it and, once we got to the lower level,I actually had to casually move her until it was out of her view.
