Back when FAB 12 was new, it was decided a few months into it to limit the use of the workout facility to blue badge people only. A message was send out to all employees, including those with an X in their e-mail address, stating such. Some disgruntled contractor wrote a scathing rant about how inconsiderate that was and how it amounted to class distinction, etc., and did a reply to all. Several people took exception to that and responded in kind. After a couple of dozen reply-to-all exchanges with thousands of messages being posted in a very short period of time, the e-mail servers became overwhelmed as did the systems that backed up e-mail.
