Just what I've posted so far.  Looks like all the fire personnel are gone now, exceot command and HazMat.  Police and utilities are also still there.  I've been looking for contact info for Chandler FD, but haven't found it yet.

Ice found it. I do not know, but would assume this would be a construction fire with the new plant. At the Intel site, but not really an Intel fire.

A fire at an Intel Corp. plant in Chandler on Friday injured up to eight people, authorities said.

Workers apparently were wielding outside of the plant near Dobson and Ocotillo roads when nearby plastic caught fire, according to Chandler Fire officials.

Eight people were treated for smoke inhalation, three of whom were taken to the hospital, officials said.

The fire was reported around 2:30 p.m. and was out by the time the Chandler Fire Department arrived. No chemicals or hazmat protection were needed, officials said.

In June, seven people were injured at the when a flash fire started inside of the plant's solvent-collection room.

They were contractors(greens), also they are the ones transported, as they were extinguishing the fire(fab 12), they were overcome. The fire was out when the first crews arrived. Intel has a heavily trained ERT team, they train also with Chandler fire at the training center located next door, actually Intel paid for Chandler's training center years ago.

RR, which FA will you be working in? Fab12, fab22, fab 32, fab42?

I work currently in 12,22,32, I'm the ramp specialist for Litho, I oversee the installation of our tools Intel buys from us.

We just might, yeah Kraemer are the base build contractors, 32 is 75% complete, sounds like you'll be at 12, we begin removing tools out of 32 and re-installing in 12 late this month, they're experiencing delays right now at 12, and with yesterdays incident, there could very well be a stand down.

Welcome aboard!

Wow... things have progressed.  I remember when we broke ground at FAB12 and pissed off a bunch of scorpions.

Sheeesh.  The only way you can have a soda where I work is smuggle the damn thing in.  And if you're caught with a cheeseburger, well, have your resume in order.  :)
