I was reading the details on the meeting coming up and was wondering about this part:

9.15 Lease Agreement. The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on a request by Assistant City Manager Kolman to enter into a five (5) year lease with Maricopa Manor Business Center, LLC for 990 square feet of office space for the purpose of relocating the Maricopa Domestic Water Improvement District’s offices. Discussion and Action.

This is the business center that is in default right now. How long has this agreement been in the works and does anyone else not getting warm fuzzies from this?

What does the City have to do with the water district anyway?  Aren't they a separate entity?

It will be interesting to see who recuses themselves from the vote seeing as how one of the council members has ownership.
