Buzz kill.

I remember as a kid having to get most of this crap.  Now with Mav starting kinder this year I get to experience it  on the other side.

As a kid all we had to do is show up with a backpack and a lunch box and we were set. There was no list our parents had to get for us. Wow how times have changed.

FYI.......

There will be NO open house.  That was set up by Dr. Conley before she left.

That will be taken off the calendar ASAP  NO OPEN HOUSE   JUST MEET THE TEACHER NIGHT August 4th 5-7pm

The new Principal.....Mrs. Janel Hildick is a great asset to Butterfield.

I went up there today and she was there and happy to meet with me.  She had someone in her office but that meeting went fast and then we met.

She is a great person and Butterfield will be lucky to have her IMHO

Hmm, she's listed in last year's staff list as "Supervisor/Academic Coach". One kid says she doesn't know her. I'll ask the other kid later.

Because I know Starla is pacing:
Google pulls up a couple InMaricopa articles with her name, earliest 2008. Also various additional information that makes the internet a scary place to be.

Nothing against this lady, since I have no idea who she is (and no intentions of knowing her well), but I'll miss Dr. Conley.

Went to Wal-Mart to get the stuff today, wow that was expensive. We still need to get LD a new backpack, his died at the end of the year. I think we are going to go to Target tomorrow to get a one, Wal-Mart did not have any good ones (any ones he liked ). I am saving my recite encase we don't need all of the stuff on the list.
I will have to drive LD to school on the first day because of all of the stuff he has to take. If my foot is doing ok I might just walk with him and help him carry the stuff, we will see. I hate the idea of driving him to school on the first day talk about a cluster frack in the parking lot. And the fact that we live so close to the school it is just a sin to drive him there. LOL

Part of the point of Meet the Teach Night (Aug 4th) is to take all that stuff in so he won't have to haul it first day, and so teachers won't have to deal with all of it first day.

See this is why you are getting paid the big bucks, I would have never thought of that. You are one smart cookie.

I accept cash and PayPal. KThxBye.

We have a wagon thingie that will be loaded down with stuffs for both classrooms. I think it would take the girls a week to get all the stuff in there if they were hauling it themselves.
