I thought this at one point then life happened and I realized a real woman is a whole all on her own with OR without a man.  Only when you are whole can you really share yourself fully with another.  Key word being share yourself, not give yourself up to.  If you are whole if someone leaves you are still complete, if you are half you remain shattered.
