Christmas to me will always be the love and caring from my parents.  I did not grow up in a religious home, my parents never pushed any type of religion or belief on us.

We watched all the Christmas  shows (but now that is not PC)  We prayed at Thanksgiving and Christmas  sometimes.  But my parents never taught us about God or Jesus.

How can you not believe in the one that gave you the option not to?

Exactly... Why would anyone try and take that away or interfere in someone else's traditions or happiness?

The only way that I know is if you let them.

LOL... Actually, there was much said and there was Starla, waving quietly and saying, "Now shoo shoo.. Off with you."

She truly rocks.

Wouldn't it make more sense for these guys to help out where it is needed instead of intruding on family time? Just a thought.

Perhaps fundraisers or similar? I mean, c'mon now, taking family time away to push a religeon? Seems counterproductive to me.

No, they did not take anything away from us. It was a good oppertunity to show my 8 year old what is not acceptable and to explain to him why.

Someone actually concerned with promoting a way of life would have helped out first, then started explaining why they were there.

Shove it down my throat and I will gag. Offer it to me on a silver spoon and I might consider it. Don't come up to my personal space, whether it be my home or my own personal bubble unless I invite you to do so. Clear?????

From my understanding... Correct me if i mis-speak... They are taught to promote first.. the help, if needed....

This has been my experience.

I am new to this. The last area I was in had tons of JWs.. (Gawd,I hated them)
