The weather was perfect but  the ghost town was in the middle of a trailer park.  We stopped to look at a gila monster, have some lunch and do a little target practice, not necessarily in that order.

That alone would have made the trip worth it.   I have been trying to get up close and personal with one of those buggers since I have lived here.
