What if god was one of us?  Just a slob like one of us. Just a stranger on the bus,  Trying to make his way home .....

You all know...........It;s funny that you know...............say no way.........I  have  not seen anyone say

SAY I do not believe  and I say GOD himself is just A worthless......LOL you finish it

Theres too much irony in life for there not to be a god.  I'm just still trying to decide if he's an asshat or the universe's best comedian...

if you said "i do not believe" and also said "god himself is just a worthless....", you'd be contradicting yourself. you can't believe he's a "worthless..." if you don't believe in existence in the first place.

anyhow, i do not believe in a god. be it christian, greek, muslim, etc, i do not believe in the existence of a god.

I always find it interesting that many religious people will give credit to a higher power for all the good things that happen, but take the blame themselves for all the bad things.

If you're responsible for all the bad that happens to you, you get credit for the good as well.

If you get to take credit for all of the good that happens to someone, then you also need to take responsibility for the bad.

IMO, no one (human or otherwise) can be responsible for everything good that happens and not a bit of the bad; nor can any one (human or otherwise) be responsible for all of the bad that happens to them and not a bit of the good.

IMHO I believe in both divinity & evil.

I was present for a miracle just under 7 years ago & despite my many thoughts wondering "is there or isn't there a God" it was that point in time that I believed unequivocally that yes, there is indeed a God.  Call him/her what you want but I do believe.

Exactly what I have believed since I was old enough for rational thought.  I went through years of pretty intense religious upbringing, all the while knowing that there wasn't a god.  I didn't say not believing that there was, rather knowing that there wasn't.  It just doesn't make sense.

Why would some supreme being worry about what I did in my day-to-day life?  If such a being were omnipotent, why would we have cancer? If he were perfect, why would babies be born with birth defects?

Yeah, I know, I have asked those questions before and been given the same like of bullshit.  Those who spread the word are adept at rationalizing everything.  If a car crashed and kills three people, then it was god's will.  If one survives, it was a miracle, the grace of God, despite the fact that two other people died, God was looking out for one of them.

He/She wasn't on the "Talk show circuit" and they could not negotiate the pay to God's PR firm's standards?
