Rainbow Airport

Sorry if this isn't the best place for it, but what's the best way to get to Rainbow Airport?

I've heard it's kinda neat and worth a look.

Take powerline road past 7 mile mountain, about a mile up youll cross a cattle guard, go past the two water tanks on the right and about a 1/4 mile up on the left you'll hit Riggs, hang a left and it's on the right hand side about a 1/4 mile up the road to the west.

I know how to get there from Goodyear.  That's the easier route, but far from here.

Take I-10 west to Estrella Parkway, exit south (left), take that to Elliot (You'll be in the Estrella community).  Then go west (turn right) about four miles to Rainbow Valley Road.  Turn left (Only way you can turn), then go south until the pavement ends (You'll be at Riggs).  Turn left (east) on Riggs (paved) and go about four miles to Bullard.  Turn right on Bullard, then an immediate left after the bridge.  It's Riggs again, but is a narrow dirt road.  Follow that about three to four miles east and it'll be on your left.

Yeah Sam but that route is 10X longer than taking 238 to powerline road.  What it's 15 miles to Ahwatukee and 40 miles from Ray to the Riggs when it turns to dirt.  I went back that way once from rainbow rancho and it was far as hell

Take some pics if you make the run.

I have wanted to head out there for some time.
