238 / 347 drama?

Just got a report that police are blocking off west bound 238 at 347.  No info from the scanner yet.

Just looked out the back yard. Traffic is moving in both directions on the 238.

the left turn arrow on 347N to turn onto 238 was not working when we came home 2hrs ago. we sat there about 20 minutes til a cop came to direct traffic. no one in the turn lane had a chance to turn, even against the red light, cause the signals were changing so fast and the traffic on 347S was heavy.

Mandy has it. The left turn sibnal NB 347 was not hitting the cycles. I sat in it twice today. I was able to hop out of the left turn lane both times. We all know how many crashes they have at that intersection. PD closed down the left turn lane.

No. My backyard is about 100 yards off the 238.

I was wondering about this last week. I saw people gesturing to a motorcycle cop as I drove south by the left hand turn lane. He was behind me and all I saw were people in their cars waving frantically to me, or so I thought, lol. I was starting to wonder if I was one of those people who hits a pedestrian and has no idea until they see blood on the front of their car, cuz it seemed like they were trying hard to get my attention. I was about to freak out until the cop zoomed in front of me and went back there. I figured either someone had a heart attack in their car when turning left, or the light wasn't working. Good to know it was the latter.
