It looks like somebody put a lot of love into that machine.  I can't see it in person to really tell, but I would say that if everything works and it runs, it's certainly worth $5K.  I have seen real POS CJs go for close to that.

 yeah, and i don't get why other then the classic car sentiment. you could get a tj for a little more, have a newer, comfortable interior, easy to use soft top, fuel injection, air, links and coils instead of leafs and so much more.
 cj's are nice for a classic, but the tj is so much more refined....

I know I do! I used to think desert was.... well.... desert! Now I know there is so much out there to see. One of our best things to do is have a get lost day. We just get in the car with a picnic basket and a bottle of wine and get lost in the desert. Thank Gawd for a GSP to find our way home.

Dayumm I take my Burbon out there and that pig is unstoppable, hits alot of trees but sooner or later they get the message.
