Pacana expansion fields closed for maintenance:

The south Pacana Park turf/ballfields (also known as the expansion fields) will be closed for field maintenance through Sunday, Aug. 1. The fields will re-open for public use on Monday, Aug. 2. The maintenance is needed to extend the field renovation process to a more thorough completion in anticipation of the fields being used six to seven days a week from early August through the end of October.

Last call for the 2010 Census:

Did you miss the opportunity to mail back your Census form? Missed your visit from the Census taker? Call today and be counted and help our community secure our future. Call 866/872.6868 for English or 866/928.2010 for Spanish operators. Toll-free phone lines are open seven days a week, 8 a.m.-9 p.m., local time. It’s required, important, easy and safe. All answers are strictly confidential and protected by law. Census takers are still conducting visits, so please answer if they knock on your door. Be counted!

Fall Registration is coming:

Looking for some great activities for this fall and winter? Look no further than the Parks & Recreation Activity Guide. Registration begins July 25 and will continue through August 26. Check you mailbox for the July issue of My Maricopa. Inside you will find the newest Activity Guide and it's full of classes for you to register for. Senior water aerobics now available at the Maricopa Rotary Pool:

Water aerobics are now available during the Senior Swim Time at the Maricopa Rotary Pool, 44236 W. Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway. You can participate on Mondays and Thursdays, from 6-7 p.m., from now through Sept. 2. The cost is $35. For more information, visit maricoparotary.com.
