You obviously didn't read 1070, and have a problem with police checking ID (which they do now anyways by the way).

Every legal Hispanic US citizen I know supports 1070.  If you fell for the liberal racist bs spin then the un-educated person is you.  And no I am not a conservative. 

I have read it thoroughly.. and have come to the same conclusion that other TRUE Conservative United States Citizens with some idea of what "constitutional" means... rather than relying on what the MSM and right-leaning sites/blogs are spoon-feeding them.. This bill is Unconstitutional..

I threw the gauntlet down long before the Federal case... dispute the case with FACTS, not opinion.. I look forward to the short argument you will have..

Remember.. majority does not make law.. nor does it make laws right and just.. It just means more and more people are becoming numb to LOSING their Civil Liberties and Constitutional Rights.. How about we just start with the fact this bill abolishes "Innocent until proven guilty" and the right to Due Process.. among other things FEDERAL LAW mandates..

You're right Chris.. ALL illegals are child molester's, rapists, murderer's, etc..

I do not know the facts of this case except that a person was beaten PRIOR to being convicted in a court of law of the charges in which they were held.. Last I checked, America is proud to tout that EVERYONE is INNOCENT until proven guilty in a court of law..

THAT said.. this "inmate justice" took place PRIOR to this asshat's guilty plea... In that sense, YES.. I feel that the jail system absolutely has an obligation to keep prisoners safe until judgement.. How would you feel if YOU may have been WRONGLY ACCUSED of child-touching and had to spend a few days in lockup?

I feel sorrow for the slow degradation of the American conservative pillar of "innocent until proven guilty".. In other words.. if someone is "accused" of a crime.. does it automatically make them guilty?  A true conservative would follow the Constitution and policy of our Judicial system and say "NO"..

I do not condone what this particular asshat did.. However, I do believe in doing things the "right" way (in the sense of United States Law).. any true conservative should say the same.. we have laws and processes for a reason.. that is, unless people want to revert to a similar system of law found in the middle east?

I love chiding Shane, but he is beyond right on this. We have rules in place, although they do fail sometimes, such as Manson's death sentence being commuted to life in prison.

The constitution does work. It is what our military fights for every day.

Each person has their day in court. Sometimes he wins, sometimes he loses, sometimes he was not the person that should have been in shackles, because he was innocent.

Regardless, we have an obligation to keep folks that we incarcerate, safe. That is written in stone.

We also have to PROVE someone guitly before treating them like a criminal. Sheriff Joe  is really bad about this. He treates everyone that comes through his system as a criminal and feeds them green meat and makes them do time in his little world.

We do have rights still, right? I am not so sure anymore.

Exactly... As a Lawful American Citizen, I couldn't agree more.. I may not agree with "the system" every time (i.e. the OJ murder trial).  I do relish in the fact that we are NOT like those 3rd world country's who use outdated and unfair policies to "find and convict" the guilty parties...

"Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law" is a cornerstone of our American Judicial System.. whether you agree or not.. it is THAT statement that sets our wonderful nation apart from every other nation IN THE WORLD..

Quite frankly... if you want anything less.. you should turn in your papers and become a citizen of some nation that DOESN'T recognize those aspects.. In other words... give up US citizenship for a suit that you can become a citizen that caters to your needs.. Really, why not? there aren't enough Americans that are ready to assume those jobs... now are they?

Ironic is: High farm unemployment rate + added farm production = LESS American Labor Force (Despite a lower "Obama-era" unemployment rate) = less labor to produce agriculture.. Which = higher costs to the consumer..

.. and this is how we reduce costs? Hell, even Ronnie and his delusional "Reaganomics"  would have been against this.. lol
