On March 31st, 2010 we will be holding a district wide elementary school concert at 9:00AM. Saddleback Elementary School will actually be holding their concert on March 30th instead, but the other elementary schools will be on the 31st at their prospective school sites. We will be starting promptly at 9:00AM and encourage any parents, families, district staff, and community members who want to attend at any of the sites. We will all be singing the same music at the same time. This event is to finish off our Music In Our Schools Month. March is Music appreciation month. The idea of doing Maricopa's Largest Concert originally came from the World's Largest Concert that is held during our spring break, that has the similar idea in a much larger scale. If you could communicate this to the community we would greatly appreciate it! If you need any more information regarding that day's event just let me know!
Also, Maricopa Elementary School is holding our 3rd grade concert on March 23rd, at 9:30AM and 6:30PM. It is titled "The Show Must Go On", including many familiar songs from "Annie", "Toy Story" and other favorites! On March 30th we are also holding our 1st grade concert that is called "Spring Cleaning". Most of the music is related to spring and also some of the students' favorite songs covered over the course of the school year. We look forward to these events and hope to see you in attendence.
