We received two.  And two of the idiotic letters the week before advising us that "The CENSUS IS COMING!"

What a crock.  We filled one out and mailed it back.  The other one I'm going to stuff in the Census taker's mouth when they come asking why we didn't mail it back, too.

Also, they'll get an answer to one question out of me.  The rest have no bearing on apportionment which is the true reason we have the census.

The census data is used for a variety of purposes.

i agree.  that is why i threw it away.  i especially didn't like the little note on the outside that said by law i needed to fill it out.  my thought was and what are you doing for me big brother?  but i felt guilted by this thread so i picked it out of the trash and filled it out.

They didn't ask me about my internet porn habits or what my toes look like so I had no problem filling it out.

Janet Napalitano, Director of Homeland Security, has promised that the next census will be much simpler.  DHS will scan your hard drive and your DVR.  They will then send you a completed form telling you how many people live in your house, where they work, where they shop, what they watch on TV, who they voted in on American Idol, and whether or not they believe in Jesus.  You will be asked to sign the form and return it.  That's simple.

It came in today, I answered all questions asked

1 - w/ the correct number of people in the house
2-10 - with "This has no bearing on apportionment, I abstain"

Yup. 3 general questions. 7 questions after that per person.

Ouch. It was sooooooooooo painfull. LOL

I did speak to my brother. He said some nonsence about 15 pages of questions.  Perhaps LA has a different agenda.

Mine was in the mail 10 minutes after I recieved it.
